The certification assures us that a product is cruelty-free

Te Protejo began certifying brands as free of animal testing in 2013, given that the options for products free from animal testing on the market were very limited. To do this, we researched international certifications that were working on this, to learn about their processes and procedures.

After more than a decade carrying out this process, access to cruelty-free brands in the Chilean market increased 21 times, going from only 10 certified brands in 2012 to more than 250 brands present in 2024.

Currently, more than 150 brands have gone through our certification process, and has also begun to expand its certification process in all Latin American countries.
