Who we are

Te Protejo is a non-profit organization that promotes the use of cruelty free cosmetics, along with a plant-based lifestyle and other initiatives respectful towards environment and animals. Since 2012 has worked in favor of animals used in laboratories in Latin America. This is its main focused as they are the most invisible and unfunded form of animal farming and the advances made by this movement in Europe and North America, don’t necessarily translate to the progress of Latin America.

Our purpose is to create a culture of responsible consumption in Latin America, empowering consumers to demand a sustainable and Cruelty Free cosmetic industry.

We have a network of more than 100 volunteers in the areas of Awareness, Certifications, Alliances and Advocacy, who help us spread information about the mission of the organization to raise awareness about animal and environmental protection in different areas.
We are winners of Lush Prize 2017, and Viva Schmidheiny awards in 2019 and 2020.

Raise public awareness about  responsible consumption in the cosmetic and household industry, through the promotion of initiates that are respectful towards animals, people and the environment.
